Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Barndominiums & Metal Buildings Preferred Contractor Directory at barndocontractor.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The Site operates as a directory connecting homeowners with contractors and suppliers specializing in barndominiums and metal buildings. We provide a platform for contractors and suppliers to list their services and for homeowners to search, review, and request quotes from those vendors. We are a directory and referral service only — we are not a party to any agreement between homeowners and vendors.

Certain features of the Site require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as needed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Application and Verification. Contractors and suppliers must submit an application and undergo our verification process, which includes insurance documentation review and public records checks. Approval is at our sole discretion. Being listed in our directory does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee of workmanship, or warranty of any kind.

Membership Fees. Contractor memberships require a one-time application fee. Supplier memberships are billed on a recurring monthly basis according to the selected tier (Standard, Professional, or Premium). All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Membership fees are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

Cancellation. Suppliers may cancel their subscription at any time through their account portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to suspend or revoke any membership for violation of these Terms, failure to maintain required insurance, or substantiated complaints from homeowners.

Our verification process confirms that contractors and suppliers have submitted documentation including proof of insurance and business credentials. Verification does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or endorsement of any vendor's work quality, reliability, financial stability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Homeowners are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence, including checking references, reviewing contracts carefully, and verifying current insurance status before hiring any vendor.

The Site facilitates quote requests between homeowners and vendors. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or timeliness of any communications between users. We do not guarantee that vendors will respond to quote requests or that any transaction will be completed. All agreements, contracts, and payments between homeowners and vendors are solely between those parties.

Reviews. Users may submit reviews of contractors and suppliers. Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and free of defamatory, abusive, or misleading content. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these standards. We do not verify the accuracy of reviews and are not responsible for their content.

Complaints. We provide a formal complaint process for homeowners to report issues with verified vendors. We will investigate complaints in good faith and may take action including issuing warnings, suspending listings, or revoking verification badges. Our complaint process is an administrative review, not a legal proceeding, and our decisions are final.

You agree not to: provide false or misleading information in applications, reviews, or communications; impersonate another person or entity; use the Site for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or other users' accounts; scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site without our written consent; interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation; post spam, advertising, or solicitations outside of approved vendor listings; or manipulate reviews or ratings.

The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Barndominiums & Metal Buildings and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our name, logo, and the "Preferred Vendor" badge are our trademarks and may not be used without our written permission. Vendors may display their verification badge only while their membership is active and in good standing.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barndominiums & Metal Buildings, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any transaction between users. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We provide the Site on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Barndominiums & Metal Buildings, its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Oklahoma for the resolution of any disputes.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
